A popular summer location for tourists is West Palm Beach, one of the leading destinations in Florida. West Palm has numerous opportunities for both tourists and residents alike, and there will never be a shortage of fun for either. From beaches to art museums, it’s likely one will want to come back for more after an extended vacation.

If one doesn’t like the cold, they’ll enjoy the warm climate of the West Palm area. West Palm Beach has seen snow, but this is a rare occurrence as the median temperature usually stays around 70 degrees or higher. In summer months, the median temperature rises quite a bit, in which time it’s better to stay inside the house with the air conditioning turned up.

Those who like to be artsy year-round will be able to enjoy the many venues of art and theatre West Palm contains. Multiple art museums, such as the Norton Museum of Art, can be viewed year round. Cafes, small performing arts theatres, and public convention centers are also popular for sharing art styles and different tastes in music or poetry. If one is just visiting the area, visiting the multiple locations is an easy way to get a primer on the West Palm culture.

Of course, it just wouldn’t be a vacation without shopping- and women should be relieved to find that West Palm Beach has numerous shopping centers. The Palm Beach Mall is one example that houses over 125 different retail stores inside. Clearly, shoppers can be entertained all day by one of the four major shopping districts. And if need be, visiting other districts is just a short drive away.
