The first annual Auburn Founder's Day event will take place on Saturday, June 6, 2009 and feature special guest Governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin. Founder's Day celebrates the founding of the City of Auburn and some of its most influential citizens. For 2009, the City will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the statehood of Alaska. The City has always enjoyed a special connection with our 49th state due to the instrumental role that William H.
